27.5 x 2.25 Michelin Force XC folding tire

The Michelin Force XC 27.5" x 2.25" (ETRTO 57-584, also commonly referred to as 650B) is a folding, tubeless-ready mountain bike tire specifically engineered for fast-paced cross-country (XC) riding and racing.

Description

• Intended Terrain: Optimized for speed on hardpack, dry, and loose-over-hard trail conditions.
• Tread Architecture: Inherits its low-profile pattern from World Cup race designs. It uses tightly spaced center blocks for swift acceleration and minimal rolling resistance, paired with taller, aggressive shoulder knobs to anchor cornering traction.
• Rubber Compounds: Features Michelin's Gum-X / Gum-X3D compound technology, striking a balance between longevity, efficiency, and reliable traction across changing surfaces.
• Casing & Build: Constructed with a flexible folding bead and options ranging from a durable 3x60 TPI Performance Line carcass up to a highly supple 150 TPI Cross Shield competition casing for lightweight puncture protection.
