1970s Browning Bicycles were sold between 1972 and 1977, the Browning Arms Company (famous for firearms and outdoor gear) briefly expanded into the bicycle market. These bikes were manufactured in Belgium and stocked in sporting goods and gun dealers rather than dedicated local bike shops. They are considered sturdy, mid-tier vintage "bike boom" road bikes today, valued for nostalgic quirkiness.
